Operation Harpoon

1. SITUATION

• Enemy: HVT-04 (Tariq Naim) and HVT-07 (Samir Dawood) are currently localized in Nur. The village is garrisoned by ~80 AFITH militants and 4 gun trucks. A 5–10 man Hodari Cartel security detail is present in civilian attire.
• Terrain: Mountain base with heavy subcloud/fog coverage. Limited visibility and restrictive movement.
• Attachments: 1x MQ-9 Reaper (Callsign: "EYE-BALL") for overwatch (weather permitting).

2. MISSION

Conduct a covert reconnaissance of Nur to confirm HVT structures and gun truck sectors of fire, return to COP, then complete a Kill/Capture operation upon Positive Identification (PID).

3. EXECUTION (COA)

The operation will be executed in two distinct phases:

Phase I: Stealth Reconnaissance

• Insertion: Infil from south-west of Nur, via heli.
• Objectives:
• Confirm the exact building housing the HVTs.
• Tag the 4 gun trucks for priority kinetic strikes.
• Identify "no-fire" zones to avoid civilian casualties.

Phase II: Kill/Capture Strike

• Initiation: Infil TBD via Ground Force Commander.
• Action: Neutralize the 80-man security element using localized superiority. Priority is the containment of HVT-04 and HVT-07.
• Exfiltration: TBD via Ground Force Commander.

4. COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS

• Uniform/Gear: Full combat load. NVGs mandatory due to cloud-filtered light levels. Bring biometric scanners for HVT confirmation.
• Rules of Engagement (ROE):
• Phase I: Weapons tight. No engagement unless compromised.
• Phase II: Weapons free on uniformed AFITH and identified armed Cartel members.
• Timeline:
• Phase I ST: 2200hrs
• Phase II ST: 0000hrs

5. SERVICE SUPPORT

• Medical: MEDEVAC on 10-minute standby.
• Ammo: Suppressors mandatory for Phase I. Heavy ordnance (AT4/M3 MAAWS) required for gun truck neutralization.

6. COMMAND AND SIGNAL

• Signal: Primary: SATCOM (Encrypted). Secondary: High-burst VHF.
• Code Words:
• "HARVEST": PID on HVT-04/07 confirmed.
• "BROKEN SPOKE": Gun trucks neutralized.
