The Combat Infantryman Badge is awarded to personnel who have engaged in active ground combat, to close in and destroy the enemy with direct fire.

The Combat Medical Badge is awarded to personnel who have engaged in active ground combat, as a medic.

Awarded to any soldier that is not eligible for the Combat Infantry Badge (CIB) or the Combat Medic Badge (CMB) who is personally present and actively engaging or being engaged by the enemy.

The Army Aviator Wings are awarded to all 183rd Air Assault Personnel who have completed flight school.

The Senior Army Aviator Wings are awarded to all 183rd Air Assault Personnel who have achieved the Army Aviator Wings and have been a pilot for three months.

The Master Army Aviator Wings are awarded to all 183rd Air Assault Personnel who have achieved the Senior Army Aviator Wings and have been a pilot for six months.

The National Defense Service ribbon is awarded to all of our personnel who complete basic combat training

The Army Service Ribbon is awarded to all 183rd Air Assault Personnel who complete their Advance Individual Training or Flight School.

The Good Conduct Ribbon is awarded to all 183rd Air Assault Personnel who show Exemplary behavior, efficiency, and fidelity within the unit.
